I’m Happy When It Rains

It’s true – the rain makes me laugh! I think a bit of water from the sky, a bottle or the ocean is always good for the soul! These are some quick snaps I managed to get the other day during the only hour where it wasn’t pouring down! Unfortunately because of the awful weather my sister and I didn’t make it to Erskine Falls :( But we’re hoping with a bit of sun on Friday, we can get up early, pack the car and be on our merry way!

You know, I read something a little awful the other day – a girl commented on another girl’s Tumblr post something along the lines of “I’m glad you’re not leaping into blogging, there are too many people out there who think they’re style bloggers.” I’m going to be honest and say I couldn’t tell who she was turning her nose up to! But what else would someone who blogs about style be, why should the logical phrase ‘style blogger’ be made a clique or elite? And why should that be a bad thing that there are so many out there – I love the diversity of the sector! It means I’m always coming across different people who have their own distinct style. I guess the comment stood out because it reminds me of that phase in high school where you want to be ‘cool’ but you’ll never be ‘cool’ enough for some people, and I’d like to think that I’ve grown far beyond from that person. x
